IPO PBF Energy (PBF) is an independent petroleum refiner and supplier of unbranded transportation fuels, heating oil, petrochemical feedstocks, lubricants and other petroleum products. They were formed in 2008 to pursue acquisitions of crude oil refineries and downstream assets in North America. PBF currently owns and operates three domestic oil refineries and related assets, which they acquired in 2010 and 2011.

IPO SolarCity sells renewable energy at prices below utility rates. Their long-term agreements generate recurring customer payments and position them to provide their customers with other energy products and services. Most of their customers agree to a 20-year contract term, positioning SolarCity to provide them with additional energy-related solutions during this relationship to further lower their energy costs. They generate revenue from a mix of residential customers, commercial entities such as Walmart, eBay and Intel, and government entities such as the U.S. Military.
